Terms of Service for BlockFront

Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of BlockFront: the BlockFront Minecraft modification, the BlockFront cloud services (official servers, matchmaking, accounts, and progression), the BlockFront websites, and the BlockFront Discord application and community bot (together, the “Service”). By using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

BlockFront is operated by BoehMod (“we”, “us”). BlockFront is a fan-made modification for Minecraft and is not owned by or affiliated with Minecraft, Microsoft, or Mojang AB. Your use of Minecraft itself remains governed by Mojang’s own terms.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age required to play Minecraft multiplayer and to use Discord in your country (at least 13 years old, or older where local law requires). By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

Your BlockFront profile is tied to your Minecraft account. You are responsible for the security of your own Minecraft and Discord accounts and for activity that occurs through them. You may optionally link third-party accounts (Discord, Patreon) to your profile; you can unlink them at any time. You can also close your account at any time from the in-game menu, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Rules of Conduct

When using the Service you agree to follow our Official Rules and Guidelines, and in our Discord server, the server rules and Discord’s own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. In particular, you agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs for advantage, or use unauthorized modifications or automation while connected to official servers;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, or post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
• Evade bans or other enforcement measures, including through alternate accounts;
• Abuse the reporting system, for example with false or repeated reports;
• Attack, overload, probe, or otherwise interfere with the operation of the Service;
• Impersonate BlockFront staff or misrepresent your affiliation with us.

5. The BlockFront Discord Application

Our Discord application provides Rich Presence on your own Discord profile (if you run Discord alongside the game) and a community bot that operates in our official Discord server. The bot provides account linking and verification, automatic role synchronization with your in-game progress, voice-channel participation rewards, announcement publishing into the in-game news feed, and light automatic moderation of our server.

Linking your Discord account is optional and can be undone at any time, including by leaving our Discord server, which automatically removes the link. How we handle data in connection with the Discord application is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Your Content

You keep ownership of content you submit through the Service (such as chat messages or posts in our Discord server). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and reproduce that content as needed to operate the Service, for example displaying staff-channel announcements in the in-game news feed or processing messages for moderation.

7. Progression and Virtual Items

Ranks, unlocks, cosmetics, and other in-game items are features of the Service, not property. They have no monetary value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be modified, rebalanced, or removed as the Service evolves. Supporter perks obtained through Patreon are subject to Patreon’s own terms; we do not process payments ourselves.

8. Enforcement and Termination

We may warn, mute, kick, temporarily ban, or permanently ban accounts (including hardware and Discord-level measures) that violate these Terms or our rules, and we may remove content that violates them. This includes restricting an account until an inappropriate username or skin is changed, and renaming or disbanding a brigade. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time, and can close your account and delete its data yourself, as our Privacy Policy explains.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or preserved indefinitely, including profiles and progression data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through appropriate channels, such as our Discord server or the in-game news feed. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
